Shromona is a very versatile singer.  She started singing at age 4 and gave her first stage performance  when she was only 7.  She has performed in numerous stage shows in Kenya, Tanzania, and India.  She was a regular in her school choir at Premier Academy, Nairobi.

Shromona is a Sangeet Visharad from Pracheen Kala Kendra, Chandigarh.  She appeared for the final graduation examination from Kolkata in 2001 and stood first among one million candidates from east zone.

Her interests include poetry, photography, and dancing. She is trained in Kathak, Manipuri & Bharat Natyam.  She has participated and won accolades in the Kenya National Music & Dance Festival.  She  is also an avid composer, and has composed and written the lyrics for several songs in this album, Ishana.
